Te Reo Kori
For PE we have been learning some traditional Maori games. They all use specific maori language and skills to do with moving, thinking and learning. Check out these action shots!

Term Two
REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE
The term has started really well with our 3Rs unit - Reuse, reduce, Recycle!
So far we have been to the Omaranui landfill and this Thursday we are off to the aquarium to see how our littering affects our ocean and sea life.
We are looking closely at our own habits in regards to be being 'waste aware' and looking to change some bad habits into good ones.
It would be great to hear about some discussions happening at home - the teachers and their families certainly are!
